Travelodge Weston-super-Mare

After DNA’s rescue mission at Travelodge in Southampton, the developer approached usto construct a new Travelodge in Weston-super-Mare - an 84-room scheme that needed starting quickly to achieve a pressing completion target. Accordingly, we assembled a team of experienced subcontractors able to respond to the required timetable, and began work on the foundations within just a couple of weeks.

We constructed the hotel using a timber frame. While commercially advantageous, this requires additional precautions and procedures, and insurances to protect it up to completion. 

Meanwhile, DNA installed prefabricated bathroom pods as the building envelope reached completion and internal works could begin. With the finishes completed,using Travelodge’s preferred suppliers, the final step was the car park and landscaped areas around the building, which now occupies a prominent site on one of the main routes into this popular coastal city.
